Gutters

  • Take a look at the surface of your gutters. You may need to use a ladder for this step in the process.  First of all, are there any visible cracks on the surface of your seamless gutters or sectional gutters? Cracks will lead to water leakage, which will lead to water damage on your home.  Small cracks in a gutter can also lead to larger cracks rapidly.

  • Have they been painted? Is the paint peeling? Peeling paint is a sign that your gutters are leaking water, causing the paint around them to peel.

  • Take a peek inside of your gutters. Do you see clogging in spots?  Most drains will clog at some time, so this is not an overall cleaning issue.

  • If your seamless gutters or sectional gutters are pulling away form your home, then it is an indicator that it’s time for new gutters.
